Google Calendar Live

Google Calendar is now live. It seems to be open for anyone with a Google Account. I supports sharing of calendars which seems to be implemented nicely but it lacks real sync. It does support sending of notifications to us phones. There does not yet seem to be a pda/phone version of the Google Calendar.

Google is planning to make hooks into Sun’s OpenOffice.org. Google has already some online components ready such as search, instant messaging and email ready and it is anticipated that they will soon release a online calendar application.
