I have now made a new eBay mashup using Virtual Earth Map Control SDK, version 3.0.1.
There is no longer use for my home made pop ups that were using Overlib. The new pop ups look pretty nice.

I get about 250 spam messages per day to my primary email addresses. get more than a hundred to email addresses I do not use and a hundred blog post spam as well.

I just completed a upgrade to Google Maps Api 2 of my Ebay Google Mashup.

I have been traveling lately and will continue to do so for more than a week. I got notice that Google Maps Api version 2 might cause trouble with old applications. I will try to fix my scripts before they become obsolete but I am not sure I will have time to do it.

Google Calendar is now live. It seems to be open for anyone with a Google Account. I supports sharing of calendars which seems to be implemented nicely but it lacks real sync. It does support sending of notifications to us phones. There does not yet seem to be a pda/phone version of the Google Calendar.

A lot of people were expecting some new cool Gmail features for April 1st. This has been the case the last couple of years. No new features this year. And no lauch of Google Calendar. Let’s hope that Google is not starting to get tired. That they will continue to shake computer world.

I have not been covering security much. But I ran into this Internet Explorer security issue on www.spyber.com. It turns out that that you can read the Clipboard from javascript. You could some pretty nasty stuff with it.
