Canon 30D released

Tuesday, February 21st, 2006

Canon has released the Canon Eos 30D. It has the same sensor as the Canon Eos 20D but has a longer lasting shutter, larger lcd and bigger buffer.
Even more impressive is the new Canon 85 1.2L USM (II). It is not only the best Canon lens, it is also very good-looking.

The picture is taken with a Canon 10D and a Canon EF 85mm 1.8 in southern Mindanao, Philippines.

There does […]

Canon 5D shipping

Friday, September 30th, 2005

The object of every (Canon sucker) photographer, the Canon 5D, is shipping. The forum over at DP review is full of meaningless discussions about potential flaws.
Most actual owners of the camera agree that the Canon 5D is fantastic camera, that produces fantastic pictures and that is very demanding when it comes to lenses. Only […]

Thursday, September 1st, 2005

Nikon is expected to respond to the very hot Canon EOS 5D with the D200. It is expected to have 12.4 megapixel, 2.5 inch screen and a magnesium body.
It will not match Canon EOS 5D full frame sensor and 60 picture buffer.
