I have been traveling lately and will continue to do so for more than a week. I got notice that Google Maps Api version 2 might cause trouble with old applications. I will try to fix my scripts before they become obsolete but I am not sure I will have time to do it.

SEO is no longer only what you do your own site. Google has been trying to curb link farm so hard that it become a vulnerability. Black hat SEO’s are now selling the service to add bad back links to your domain in order to get it penalized by Google.

Google Calendar Live

Google Calendar is now live. It seems to be open for anyone with a Google Account. I supports sharing of calendars which seems to be implemented nicely but it lacks real sync. It does support sending of notifications to us phones. There does not yet seem to be a pda/phone version of the Google Calendar.

Google Bombing was invented by Adam Mathes who now seems to have joined Google. Interestingly his original pranks, the failure of George Bush and the lair Tony Blair, are still in full effect. Other famous Google Bombs are gone such as weapons of mass destruction.
