There are rumors that Microsoft is talking with Ebay about a possible merger. From an technology standpoint it makes sense. Ebay is a big Microsoft customer. I am not very impressed with the recent Ebay Skype merger. And I am not sure that these two giant companies will be able to prosper better together than apart.
There will be some new products and user terms from the new company.
All computer items auctioned will require a new Windows Vista license, as original software licenses can not be transferred.
All Windows users will be required to have a Paypal account that could and WILL be used if there is any suspicion of pirated software.
The Microbay site will only work with Internet Explorer 7 running on Vista.
