Google Maps Api Verson 2

I have been traveling lately and will continue to do so for more than a week. I got notice that Google Maps Api version 2 might cause trouble with old applications. I will try to fix my scripts before they become obsolete but I am not sure I will have time to do it.

The first reviews of HD-DVD movies are now come out: Last Samurai, , Phantom of the Opera and Serenity. The reviewers are very positive although but they do not seem to be entirely objective. First Blu-ray movies will be out May 23. The classic, The Fifth Element, will be in the first batch.

Google Calendar Live

Google Calendar is now live. It seems to be open for anyone with a Google Account. I supports sharing of calendars which seems to be implemented nicely but it lacks real sync. It does support sending of notifications to us phones. There does not yet seem to be a pda/phone version of the Google Calendar.

Google Bombing was invented by Adam Mathes who now seems to have joined Google. Interestingly his original pranks, the failure of George Bush and the lair Tony Blair, are still in full effect. Other famous Google Bombs are gone such as weapons of mass destruction.

Umpc buzz cooling off

I really was looking forward to buying a umpc but I am no longer sure. The lack of keyboard and relatively high price on the first models is not very appealing. There are full featured notebooks for around $850, the first umpc will be slightly more.
