Not too many exiting products at CES 2006
With a million or so web logs about gadgets there were almost no surprises or really hot products. Engadget singles out a couple of hot products:
The Toshiba Gigabeat S Series mp3 players looked cool and are made of aluminum.
Sony Blue-ray players were hotter than the HD-DVD-players which were not up for prime time.
The Dell 3007WFP 30 inch display was not a surprise but it is extremely desirable and now available for $2200.
The Panasonic 103-inch 1080p PDP was one inch bigger than the previous largest display.
The Pioneer Inno was apparently pretty and Robosapien RS2 Media is a somewhat more annoying robot.
