Hostip.info changed their url for ip geo look ups which resulted in no data being returned my site. This bug has been fixed.

I have also been working some of the more advanced features with Google Analytics. I have setup Goals, people going from the eBay mashups to eBay. I can now see patterns of which kind of users stay on the site and eventually click-through.

Setting up an advanced analysis like this would have cost tens of thousands dollar five years back. In many cases much more. Google Analytics does disclose all of your website’s business secrets to Google. But that is the price you have to play.
