The Download squad and other sources are noting that Google is developing an online calendar. Google has purchased the domain Gcalendar.com and calendar.google.com is live.

Google did a lot for webmail, not only offering 2 GB of space, but also dramatically improving the user interface. I am sure they will use Ajax to create their calendar application.
