Sony Qualia no more

I was really saddened by the news that Sony no longer will develop Qualia products. Apparently the markets was not big enough for US $1 700 mini disc players and such.
The most desirable Qualia in my opinion is the 004. That is the US $ 30 000 1080p projector.

TomTom Voices

The latest thing to get with Bittorrent is voices for your TomTom powered GPS. This pack has 29 voices including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Marilyn Monroe, Tony Blair, Knight Rider, HRH The Queen, R2D2, Arnold Swarzenegger, Ozzy Osbourne (Bleeped)
and Ozzy Osbourne (Swearing).
The most popular voice seem to be John Cleese.

Nokia N91 slips into 2006

Nokia’s introduction of the N91 seems to have been very premature. The press release was on April 27 of 2005. Customers might end up waiting one year for it, the current predicted sale start is the first quarter of 2006. This usually means March 31.

Jens of Sweden Bankrupt

Jens of Sweden has filed for bankruptcy. The company will resume business under the new name of Jos. The move is not very unexpected. Several Swedish computer companies have been riding on high waves using big mouths and not so much substance and then crashed.
