According to Businessweek invites are no longer needed to get a Gmail account for users in the US. However, there is a requirement, you need a cell phone with text messaging. Sign-up here.

The Google Talk client appearently supports streaming of sound directly from your computer. This means that you can stream your mp3 to your friends as you are chatting with them.

Intense P1000 rumors at mobile-review

There is an intense discussion about the next generation Sony Ericsson PDA going on at mobile-review.com. Some posters claim to have seen prototypes and there has also been an accidental posting on a Swiss Orange site.
