Google silently introduces Sitemaps beta

Google has recently introduced a new option for webmasters to submit their website to the Google bots. It is done through the Sitemap Protocol which is very straight forward. There are only four tags required, location, last modified, change frequency and priority:

<loc>http://www.example.com/</loc>
